Big Valley Day June 27, 2009 is a community celebration that brings together the communities of Adin, Bieber, Nubieber and Lookout in the Big Valley area of Modoc & Lassen Counties in Northern California. The celebration rotates every year between the two communities of Adin and Bieber, with the event this year, being held in Adin.

Big Valley Day is held in conjunction with Bike Big Valley and is held on the last Saturday of June (6/27). Events include a parade, children's games, fire fighter games with various fire departments of the two counties competing, a baseball game, old time gunfights, cow chip bingo and logging contests. There are plenty of community food vendor's and vendor's selling various items, a pancake breakfast put on by the Lookout 4H, and on Sunday, Church in the Park.

Bike Big Valley Bike Big Valley is a new event where bike enthusiast from around Northern California can participate in three different distance bike routes. The event will start in Adin and end in Adin. This bike event gives the cyclist a chance to see and appreciate the scenery of Big Valley, and maybe chance encounters of mule deer and antelope.

The event is a fun ride consisting of a 29-mile loop on rolling hills with panoramic views at an elevation of 4200ft. The second is a more challenging trek of 49-miles with 1.5 mile 6% grade that leads to the Big Valley Summit. The third loop will be a 98-mile trip that climbs out of the valley through old growth pines, experimental forest and high desert with three major elevation changes.

The Big Valley Day Committee will be holding a fund raising Mexican dinner Friday the 3rd of April at the Bieber Veterans Memorial Building in Bieber Ca. Dinner will be served from 6pm to 9pm, 5:30 for take out. Tickets are $12.00 for adults & $6.00 for children
