WHAT CAN WE DO FOR YOU?

We are a boutique law firm specializing in employment, wrongful termination and labor law here in Northern California. We have over 20 years of expertise, experience, and a prove track record for getting results for our clients, with many satisfied clients who have used our services over the years. We are responsive to the needs of our clients, whether they need a severance agreement to be reviewed and negotiated, an employment contract to be written and provided to a prospective employer, advice on protecting themselves from their current employer when they find themselves the subject of an investigation or after they think they may be retaliated against for complaints about unsafe working conditions. As trial attorneys, we also realistically represent clients when they need aggressive advocacy in Court against their former employer in order to hold it accountable for illegal acts. These are but some of the examples of the services we perform for our clients

What you can expect from us:

  1. When you contact us, we will provide you with a free telephone consultation/intake to determine your needs, goals, and whether and how we might assist you.
  2. If we agree to assist you, we promise to be responsive, to meet with you as soon as possible, to answer your questions, to keep you up to date on work we are doing on your behalf to achieve your goals. We will not waste your time and will work toward getting the best outcome for you.

Our fees are determined by the work that we do. Advice and Counsel is generally provided based on an hourly rate for services rendered, with a one hour minimum. Litigation work is done either on an hourly basis, or on a contingent fee basis, with the client responsible for litigation costs. Retainers for fees are usually required. Do not hesitate to call us if you need assistance with a severance agreement or employment contract, or believe you have be treated illegally by your employer.

“I find great satisfaction in representing real people and advocating for employees who have been harmed by the illegal actions of their employer. I seek justice for wronged employees and formed the Ungerman Law Firm to do just that.” – Attorney Elisa Ungerman
